Stephen Ministry trains and oversees the work of lay care-givers – called Stephen Ministers – who provide high-quality, one-on-one Christian-centered care to those experiencing life difficulties including loss, illness, or other challenging circumstances.
Stephen Ministers visit their care-receivers regularly, offering spiritual support and helping them develop practical strategies to cope with their situations. Stephen Ministers listen non-judgmentally and uphold a pledge of confidentiality.
