Our youth Sunday School focuses on exploring the Bible in a faithful and meaningful way. We teach the foundations of love, mercy, and grace as we encounter God through the scriptures. We use these teachings to act in love, mercy, and grace to our neighbors as part of our everyday life. Youth Sunday School is held on Sundays, September through May at 9 a.m. for youth ages sixth through twelfth grades.
The youth fellowship meetings include bible study, fellowship, fun and food. During meetings, the youth also plan local service projects, mission trips, Lock-Ins and other activities. All youth grades sixth thorough twelfth are welcome to attend.
Confirmation class is a weekly, multiple month class which guides students in learning and understanding matters of faith and the institution of the church for the purpose of exploring membership to Paxton and deciding to formally join the body of Christ. Each student works with the Pastor and a personal mentor in this faith building program. Confirmation class is open to student’s seventh grade and older who are interested in church membership.
All youth are encouraged to join the Paxton Singers, the Paxton Ringers or both. These groups rehearse weekly and participate monthly in worship. Both groups offer opportunities to explore and expand musical talents while offering praise and glory to God.
