Paxton Nursery School
Welcome to Paxton Presbyterian Nursery School, a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment where children aged 2–5 years begin their journey of discovery, play, and learning. We believe every child is unique and deserves a safe and nurturing place to grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
PPNS been supporting families and shaping young minds since 1957. We are a non-profit, outreach program of Paxton Church. PPNS seeks to provide a rich learning experience for preschool children of the community, regardless of race, creed and color. We provide an environment with many resources for learning and bridging the gap from home to school.
We offer age-appropriate programs that support developmental milestones through play-based learning.
🌱 Toddler Program (Age 2 – must be 2 by September 1st):
Gentle introduction to social interaction, motor skills, and routines.
🌼 Preschool Program (Age 3 – Must be 3 by September 1st):
Hands-on activities, early literacy, and numeracy through themes and storytelling.
🌻 Pre-K Program (Ages 4/5 – Must be 4 by September 1st):
School-readiness skills, structured learning, group projects, and more.
Daily activities include:
